The ouroboros is an ancient circular symbol depicting a snake devouring its own tail as a means to represent renewal and wholeness. The snake is featured with a diamond eye and is affixed to an oxidized silver chain. Using an ancient Korean gilding technique, this necklace by Acanthus is made of oxidized sterling silver and 24k yellow gold. Since the 24ky accents are hand cut and hand placed, variations may occur. The pendant measures 0.75” diameter. The chain can be worn at 16” and 18”. Handcrafted in US.
