Traditional Indian beads are formed over wax, and knotted on a rustic dark red cord.  These luminous necklaces are gold vermeil (gold over sterling), and are approximately 27" long.  with no clasp, these beads easily fit over your head.  Round beads are about 3/8" each and conical shape beads are 7/8" each.
